  • Over 60 club coordinated trips last year!
  • Day trips,  weekend long camps, right up to multi-day backcountry adventures!
  • There are novice, intermediate and advanced trips. 
  • Our trip coordinators are also regular members...you can always contribute by coordinating a trip!
  • Kayaks, SUPS, inflatables, not just canoes! If you paddle it, we welcome it! 
  • Bow Waters does not charge a fee for our trips      *other costs may be involved: eg camping , boat rentals or vehicle shuttles 




Affordable Boat Rentals 
  • Bow Waters has an excellent inventory of boats, our rental rates and terms are extremely attractive

  • Solo Boats
  • Don't buy your boat yet!  If you are new to paddling, we encourage you to try out boats from our inventory to really get a feel for the many types of boats and their merits prior to purchasing
  • The rental process is simple. Call us to rent a boat and/or gear, pick up the boat during clubhouse hours, and return after your trip. If you're not sure what to rent, we assist with that. Note rentals are only for club trips. 


Lessons and Training 
  • Bow waters generously subsidizes safety and skills improvement courses as we want everyone to be safe and have fun on the water!
  • Adult and youth discounted lessons with certified instructors through Rocky Mountain Paddling Center. 
  • Swift water rescue,  Wilderness first aid training, Skills/ Paddling development. Most are subsidized by the club.
  • Evening whitewater intro and training (no cost) at Harvie Passage right in town (some years).  Evening practice, mentoring and training (no cost) at Carburn Park, and more!
  • Discounts for Kayak and SUP lessons through AQ Outdoors. 
  • Many mentoring opportunities on our trips
